Using the Approvals page

 What is the Approvals page?

The Approvals page is where your organisation reviews assessment requests before they are sent to the nominated vendor or entity contact. It gives authorised Approvers a clear checkpoint to confirm that the request details are accurate and complete. Approvers can review the questionnaire, make corrections where needed, and then approve or reject the request.

How do approvals work?

When a team member submits an assessment request, it appears as a pending request for the organisation’s Approvers. An Approver opens the request, checks the questionnaire and nominated contact, and updates any incorrect information before saving. The Approver then selects Approve or Reject. Approved requests proceed to Fiable for processing and the nominated entity contact is contacted. Rejected requests do not proceed, and the requesting team member receives an email explaining the outcome and, where applicable, the reason for rejection.

What can I find on this page?

The page is organised into Pending Requests and Rejected Requests tabs. Pending Requests shows assessment orders that still require a decision, while Rejected Requests provides a record of requests that were not approved. Each table presents the key information needed to identify and assess a request. You can customise the visible columns to focus on the details most relevant to your workflow, then use the available actions to review a request, approve it, or reject it.

Who can use the Approvals page?

All Fiable users can view the Approvals page and the approval requests available to them. Only users with the Approver property can select Review, Approve, or Reject for pending requests. An Owner can assign or remove the Approver property from the Team Members page, and only Owners and Managers can be assigned as Approvers. If you cannot see the approval actions, contact an Owner to confirm your role and Approver access.
