Using the Projects feature

What is this page

The projects page on your Fiable platform is your driving force for all your evaluations and assessments. Whenever you place a request through your Fiable platform to assess one of your vendors, you will be asked to tie it to a Project.

This page will hold the details of all Projects you have recorded on your Fiable account. This will help to align assessments to the projects they relate to and help implement project level risk tracking.

What is on this page

A welcome banner with details of the page and what it does. The welcome banner also includes the main 'Create Project' Button where a User can add projects to their Fiable platform.

Within the welcome banner, there is a summary of your created Projects on the right hand side of the banner, under the button to create a project. This summary shows the number of ‘Active Projects’ you have in Fiable, and the ‘Total Value’ of those active projects. This is to help give you a quick view of what you have currently underway on Fiable.

Underneath the welcome banner, the page includes a search bar for users to search for specifics projects by name, location, reference number, or even category. Next to the search bar, Users can customise the columns they want to see in the table on the page. This allows each User to customise the table and the page to see the fields for the projects they want to see.

Finally, the Projects page has a table which has the following fields:

  • Project Name: The name of the project that is being undertaken. For example: “Building at Queens Wharf, Brisbane”.
  • Project ID: This is an internal Fiable ID number for your project and can help sorting for you within Fiable. Each project created is assigned a Project ID, starting with PRO-1 and counting sequentially up.
  • Client: This field denotes the client the project is being created for, if it is an externally created project. If the project is a completely “internal” project, not being done on behalf of a client, then fill this field in with your own company name.
  • Creator: This field denotes the name of the User that created the particular project.
  • Location: This is the Project Address provided when the project was completed; this would be the street address, the suburb, state, and postcode
  • Start Date: The start date listed for the Project. It is in DD/MM/YYYY format.
  • End Date: The end date listed for the Project. It is in DD/MM/YYYY format.
  • Project Value: The total project value listed for this project, including the currency of the project value.
  • Assessments: Shows the number of assessments that have been completed against this project, by the number of assessments that have been requested against this project. This would show whether there are outstanding assessment requests for a particular project.
  • Project Category: This denotes the type of works being completed for this project and is selected when the project is created. The project category could be anything from Hospital/Healthcare, Residential, Multi-Level Residential, to Civil Infrastructure, Roads, or even Rail works.

What this page does

The Projects page is the engine for Fiable Customer’s assessments that they run through their Fiable account. As a Fiable User, every request that gets placed for an assessment needs to be assigned to a Project. This allows Users to track the assessments being conducted against the Projects that the contracts are related.

By adding Projects to Fiable, Customer User are empowered to get a multi-dimensional, holistic view of their portfolios and better track, manage, and understand their exposure to vendor financial and operational risk.

Each Project within Fiable has a unique reference number, Fiable ID, and details about the project to help Users track and manage their projects in an intuitive, yet simple, way.

On the Projects page, Users can create projects, view high level details about all of their projects on Fiable, and click into a Project to get more in-depth details about the assessments that have been or are currently being conducted in relation to the project.

Accessing the details of a Project can be done by clicking the relevant project in the Projects table. This will take the User to a new page, with the details of the project at the top of the page. From this page, the User can view the assessments which have been assigned to the Project, and assign existing requests to the project.

Assigning assessments to Projects allows a User to understand and view a complete picture of the project’s risk. By having a complete view of the assessments that have been conducted on the various vendors assessed as part of this project.

Fiable gives Users the chance to show which vendor has been approved and contracted on the project, providing a combined risk rating for the project based on the results of these assessments.
